Sorry it's been so long. I returned from Kenya last week and have since recovered from extreme jet-lag. Trying to explain to you everything that happened in Kenya would be impossible. But, now I am preparing for classes, which start on August 18th. I am excited and dreadful because class means hw but also one semester closer to graduation. The joy of being a senior is that your classes are actually in your major. And the actual classes I'm taking are pretty good. They are as follows:
1. Lighting Design: Theater/TV/Film
2. Honors Feature Screenwriting
3. Working in Film, TV, New Media
4. Media and Popular Culture
Schedule isn't too bad except for the fact that it's impossible to find parking at Georgia State. Hope to have a more interesting update soon.

The Last Summer
Ok. This is it. My last summer. Next May I will be graduating college and entering what is affectionately called the "REAL" world. So that means that this is it. The last hoorah. Unfortunately, it hasn't gone as planned so far. I got laid-off at the beginning of June and I just spent 4 days straight with my father on a 9-hour trip, each way. But things are looking up. I still have my internship with Film Finish, a post-production house in Atlanta, and I was just hired as the Internet Operations Manager at my college TV station, GSTV. Plus, next month I will be traveling to Kenya for the second time this year. But I am less busy than summers past so when I stumbled upon this list of "30 Things Journalism Grads Should Do This Summer", I took note.
So here's number one: Start a blog and post at least twice a week. CHECK
